Anyone. Anywhere. Any bug. This past fall as we all were packing away the flyswatters and bug repellant for the season, John and his team were busy as bees shooting an image library on location in Dallas for Terminix, the pest control company. An image library is a customized stock library that you control and use whenever, without additional reuse payments down the road (that reuse payment notice can become such a pest). But unlike regular stock, an image library features people you've chosen, and is art-directed by your art director. More importantly, there's no chance of you driving down the highway and seeing your image on an outdoor board promoting one of your competitors. On this project our goal was to fill the Terminix library with lots of beautiful lifestyle shots for their future advertising, marketing and promotions. Producing the project was a snap. While still in Milwaukee we secured the Dallas talent and locations, developed the schedule, handled travel, hired local talent to fill out our crew, and we even found a great West End BBQ joint So when John, his assistants, stylist and producer arrived in Dallas for final pre-pro with the Little Rock ad agency folks, all systems were go. Take a look at a sampling of the Terminix image library in our featured project area. If you'd like to learn more about shooting an image library, or even see some of the libraries we've shot for other companies, email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. And just for fun, when you're on our website, buzz on over to the recent work area to see what else John has been shooting. An image library might be just the way to solve your original photography vs. stock dilemma. And when you see the tremendous number of beautiful shots John can deliver within your budget, everyone at the office will think you're the bees knees.
