Be Careful What You Wish For
Each summer it's the same thing...John Nienhuis packs his bags for an extended holiday on the beach while I kick back a bit before another busy fall of shooting. And every time I break the news to our clients that John's not available for a project, I find myself wishing that one summer he'd stay in town. Well, guess what? John's staying put this summer, and well, you know John, he hates sitting around.
Now's the time to shoot those ad campaigns and exec photos that need a beautiful green backdrop of summer, those shots that somehow each year get away from you. The ones that leave you in a panic as you try to book a photoshoot before the fall colors hit. So, as you're contemplating your summer plans, check out the smiling gent above ~ he was photographed on location for Akron Medical Center's wellness campaign.
I'll keep you posted on how the summer of John works out...it might just make me a little more careful of what I wish for next year. (summer 2007)
